Developed specifically for use with Microsoft® Windows® 95 and Windows NT® PC-based point-of-sale (POS) systems, the RocketPort 485 multiport connector revolutionalizes multiport connectivity, providing a more powerful, reliable, and cost-effective solution that’s also easier to implement.
Quick, Easy Setup and Faster Processing
The RocketPort 485 controller provides both easy installation and programming. Using six RS-232 and two jumper-selectable RS-232/485 serial ports per eight-port board, a total of four built-in boards can easily connect up to 32 POS devices per system. Once installed, the RocketPort serial ports function as standard Windows com ports. RocketPort technology enables faster processing in over 20 types of POS devices, including poll displays, receipt printers, credit verification modems, in-ground tank monitors, and video security systems.
